That was Started in year 1991, I got my first qualification for enter the Radio World, when I was at my Mother country Sri Lanka. Most of the equipments that I use there was hand made, 6m AM band was my favorite. Then after almost 10 years, I slipped up to Japan and got my current call sign "JF1NLH" here according to the Japanese Government. Currently I running HF , 6m SSB , 2m SSB , UHF and some free license Radio 11m(0.5w AM) and Personal radio (5WtypeFM). Including APRS and Echo-Link repeater. Now here at Japan I have bit higher activity for 10m Band.
